Taco and Merrill sobbed endlessly until Taco was able to be with Merrill in the recovery area. After that, the Chihuahua never left the side of his best friend and was committed and loyal to Merrill during her healing. Nurses were shocked at the dedication of these two puppies. That is why Taco and Merill were listed separately on their website hoping that they could find a home for each dog. As senior dogs become harder to find homes, Taco did not have much desire.
