Merrill and Taco arrived at the Rocket Dog Rescue concurrently since being abandoned together. There’s not much information about the dog’s previous owners, but one thing was clear: the dogs were best friends. The two spent their time together, weeping while apart. Merill has a serious infection in her urinary tract even before they were rescued. She needs surgery to save her. The entire time Merrill had surgery, Taco was distracted and anxious. When she was finally released, nurses tried to isolate her so that she could recover much more easily but it was a little rough.
