Back to the Future (1985)
Back to the Future is widely regarded as a masterpiece of scriptwriting and one of the finest blockbusters of the 1980s. However, the film’s quasi-incest narrative (the younger version of Marty McFly’s mother Lorraine has “hots” for him) was nearly too contentious to be filmed in 1985, let alone now. If and when BTTF is recreated, the plot will most certainly be substantially toned down, if not completely removed.

‘The Police Academy’ Series (1984-1994)
Similarly to Stripes, it is highly improbable that any of the Police Academy films would be filmed today in their original form. Some may regard the comedy as insulting to cops. In contrast, others may view them as overly praising cops, alienating people on both sides.
