When the story received a lot of attention online, Christin realized that she could do something to make things a bit easier for the family. So many individuals have read and shared it, so she thought of launching a fundraiser which will help pay for the new hair treatment that her daughter is getting. She created a GoFundMe page to ask readers to donate money in order to help make things better for the birthday girl. They did not know at that time if it would work.

Christin was surprised that the story was getting a lot of attention, so she tried to give updates on the things that were happening in the life of her daughter. Kelsey’s emotions had been all over the place, but she was slowly beginning to do things that she enjoyed again and did not hide her face anymore. Christin enjoyed giving updates and showing everybody, regardless of their opinion on the situation, that her daughter was a good kid.
