Aladdin (1992)

Aladdin was a massive blockbuster for Disney in 1992, thanks to stunning animation, timeless melodies, and superb voice performance from Robin Williams. However, when the firm recreated the film in 2019 as a live-action feature, they modified numerous significant parts of it. Why? On the other hand, the original animated picture was riddled with racial stereotypes about the Middle East and a problematic representation of Princess Jasmine as a lady who needed to be rescued. For the previous live-action version, all of this was toned down.
