The fact that New York was an expensive city to live in was something that Joe was well aware of. Joe tried his best to save money, but he could, for a tiny studio apartment, from $5 coffee to $1000 rent. And when he began to have to shop more frequently, he became concerned because the food in his fridge and pantry was smoothly gone. His routine did not shift, so he had no excuse to eat more than usual. But another person was living with him who could know the answer.

Lucy, Joe’s girlfriend, moved to his apartment recently. On cloud nine, there were two lovebirds, and this was a new beginning in their lives. But this issue with the missing food started to gnaw at Joe. Why was his girlfriend going to get his food? Why wasn’t she just asking?
