Joe, traumatized, is frozen in his tracks. It has to be a joke, right? As he watched the video he secretly filmed last night and his heart is pounding. It was like watching his favorite horror film, except it wasn’t a slasher from Hollywood; it was his life. For days, he had been waiting for this moment, finally finding out the truth about his missing food and finally having evidence. Yet something left a sick feeling in his stomach. He knew that he had to run for it, that he had to go fast. However, the time had run out.

But there was no other place Joe would choose to live, amid overcrowding, living expenses, and less-than-friendly individuals. He’d been dreaming about the Big Apple all his life, and now he’s there!
