Al Roker also serves as the weather anchor on NBC’s Today and as a co-anchor on NBC Nightly News. With a B.A. in Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1976, he began his career as a professional meteorologist. In 1983, Roker took a break by regularly substituting on NBC News at Sunrise. He worked for various anchors on Today from 1990 to 1995. Since Willard Scott left, he started doing Today’s weekday weather fill time. Roker was honored in 2018 for his forty years of service to the NBC network.

David Muir first joined ABC News in 2013. He worked with World News Now as an anchor. He was also a frequent backup anchor for Diane Sawyer’s World News. David Muir was once a co-anchor of ABC News’ 20/20 magazine. His own show, World News Tonight with David Muir, is currently airing. Muir’s work has been recognized with several honors, including six Emmys for his national and international reporting. In 2012 and 2013, the Tyndall Report named him one of America’s most visible journalists.
