Barbara Walters is a well-known television personality. She wanted to use her platform to empower women and inspire young girls all over the world. On NBC’s “The Today Show with Hugh Downs” and later with Frank McGee, she started as a writer and segment producer of stories about women. After McGee’s death, Walters took over as co-host, making her the first woman to ever be on an American news channel. Walters went on to host shows, including The View, Today, ABC Evening News, and 20/20.

Sam Ryan is a New York Institute of Technology alum. Ryan eventually got the experience she wanted by working her way up. As he worked for several networks, including ESPN, ABC, and CBS Sports, she got a taste of the television world. She began her career at ESPN in 2003 before moving on to CBS Sports and WCBS-TV in 2006. She was eventually employed as a studio host and reporter by the MLB Network. She also appeared on other shows on the network, such as ‘Quick Pitch’ and ‘The Rundown.’ Ryan won a local Emmy Award for “Outstanding Series Feature-Soft” in 1999 and a local AP award in 2000.
