After the police got the call, they investigated the house. They brought with them some of the neighbors so they could be guided around the property. They had no idea what would greet them. Since the police didn’t know who or what they were up against, they made sure to prepare for the investigation. They brought along a team of specialists, like a medical examiner, a wildlife expert, and others.

Wildlife committee member Soary Randrianjafizanaka worked in the department that the police called upon to help in investigating the house. In instances when foul smells are reported, her department is usually called to help investigate the issue. When Randrianjafizanaka heard about the house, the head of the agency went herself to investigate. Since her own home was in the area, she was curious.
