Transporting The Tiger
Once the police verified that there was really a tiger in the house, they contacted animal control. To make sure that they could move the tiger safely, it was tranquilized by the animal rescue officers. Then, they used special equipment to get the animal out of the cage and move it somewhere safe. The living conditions of the tiger were deplorable, but they noted that it was well-fed and didn’t seem bothered being around people. However, the animal was very dehydrated.

Temporary Housing
The first thing they needed to do was to find a safe place for the tiger to live. It was clear that the animal hadn’t been treated right. It would need professional care. The workers immediately started caring for the confused and innocent animal. There was a local shelter that agreed to take the tiger in temporarily. They kept the animal in a horse pen and away from other animals. It wasn’t permanent, but it would do.
