According to Francisco Alves, the doyen of Portuguese maritime archaeologists and is also known to be the head of nautical archaeology (under the Ministry of Culture), the discovery of the fabled ship allowed them to learn more about the lost history and gave them the chance to learn more about the great old ships. Thanks to the discovery that was found in the Forbidden Zone, they could finally learn a lot more about their country’s past.
