Sadly, the story is not that simple. Even though the original script did not call for a kiss between the two actors, the showrunners suggested that they have a kiss. Apparently, the thought of this was making Sink so stressed out that they added it. According to the showrunners, it was her fault that they added the kiss. As you can imagine, fans did not approve of this. However, Sink eventually said that even though she felt uncomfortable, she did not feel pushed into doing it.
