We don’t want to get you all excited and worked up. Those two animals are not friends. As a matter of fact, they had been competing for the carcass of a beaver just outside of the frame. Sharing is not something that they are willing to take part in. We wonder which one of them got to it first.

In case you did not know, American Black Bears can weigh as much as 550 pounds. However, the average weight of these creatures is around 200 pounds or so. While they are excellent swimmers, this big guy was not too fond of the water. He does not want to freeze to death, thank you very much.
