Indiana – 33.6% Obesity Rate
In the year 2013, the obesity rate was only 31% in this state, but it increased to 33.6% after several years. Trust for America’s Health director claimed, “The state really needs to step back and say ‘what can we do more of, what evidence-based programs do we need to put in place, and what is a more comprehensive approach to obesity prevention that we need to embrace?”

Most of the children in this state were suffering from overweight or obesity. One out of six children who were aged 10 to 17 were obese. In America, there were one out of seven children were obese. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation claimed that being “optimistic” would “turn the tide around.” however, in 2016, the rate decreased, but it rose again after a few days.
