28.4% was the obesity rate in Florida. It might be ranked 35 out of all the states in the country, but the Florida Department of Health was still wanted to decrease the number of people suffering from obesity. The department had encouraged people to exercise, cheaper healthy foods, and promote the workplace and school to start a healthy lifestyle.
