In the year 2019, this state was considered as the lowest obesity rate among the other states. It was ranked 6th, and only 26% were the residents were deemed to be obese. It claimed that their program encouraged healthy food, preventing unprocessed foods at school, and hospitals had helped the nation decrease the weight problem. Montana tried to improve its residents’ lifestyle.

Utah had a lower obesity rate than the other state. However, it did not mean they were doing well. Most Utah residents have been living a healthy lifestyle, but there were still gaining weight. According to the annual “state of obesity” report by Trust America Health, the number of people suffering from weight problems was increasing.
