The data showed that the state had the least number of people who were obese. The lowest scale was 22.6% for adults in the year 2017. However, the state was facing the problem because the number of obese who were obese were increasing. Most people who were aged 45 and 64 were obese. They tried to flatten the curve by enhancing awareness and laws.

The obesity rate in Columbia had been decreased by 1.9% in the year 1012. it was ranked 2nd in the lowest obesity scale in the US. Obesity was natural for adults who were aged 40-64. For children, there were 17.8% of them that were overweight, and 17.7% were obese. The reason why they had that kind of rate was because of insufficient physical activity.
