29.5% of the resident in Arizona had been suffering from obesity. However, if we would compare this to other states, it had a lower scale of obesity. The value decreases because of what the state government did. Arizona had delicious Mexican influenced food that might be why the people living there were facing a weight problem.

Honorable Mention: Oregon – 29.4% Obesity Rate
We did not expect that Oregon would be included in the list. It had great outdoor that people could do physical activities. The authorities in this state were trying hard to decrease the obesity rate. The health promotion manager in the states claimed, “We’ve been able to stay pretty flat, which was our intention given the resources that we have to address obesity.”
