Acura Design Studio in Los Angeles did not just restore the car but also gave it new modifications in the form of new paint, new brakes, a two-inch suspension drop, a Pioneer sound system, and 18-inch wheels by Rays.

Another Prius fan, America Ferrera used a Prius for a couple of years after she won it at a Hot for Hollywood Auction. The base model might cost $24,325, but she got it for $35,000. Even though it was more than the asking price, the proceeds went to an AIDS foundation. Aside from the Prius, there was also a Lexus GS450h in the auction. It is pretty amazing to hear that the Lexus sold for $5,000 less than its real price! According to AutoBlog, this is the sort of thing that would not happen outside of Hollywood. Aside from the Toyota Prius, the actress also owns a hybrid Highlander.
