The Museum
In Waycross, there is a museum called The Southern Forest World. The institution was founded by the Industry of Forestry of the Southeastern United States. Inside, you will find a collection of artifacts and mementos that have to do with wood products. They date back from the colonial period!

The mummified dog ended up in this place. Yes, it is there serving as an artifact, still attached to the tree trunk. The loggers donated the creature to the authorities at the museum, who helped them solve the mystery. Interestingly, the museum was not yet even open when they made the donation!
