It was a lion! To be precise, a magnificent male lion. Sheila appears to have developed a crush on her friend. These two had formed an extremely close bond from the start. Sheila was able to move on so quickly because of her love for Kahn. Now that she was in a relationship with another lion, she had rekindled her desire to live. Kahn has a similar background to Sheila.
