When she finished her speech to the adults, the minister called Landon to come up to the front by Katie. She got down to his level and grabbed his hands. “Landon,” she said emotionally, “I love you more than you will ever know. I’ve had the privilege of knowing you since the beginning.” While everyone was already in tears, this just made everyone even more emotional!

In Katie’s speech, she said over and over again in many different ways how much she loved and cared for Landon. “I’ve loved watching you grow and I will for the rest of my life. I’m so happy that now I officially get to be your bonus mom,” she said. Landon listened intently to everything she was saying to him, and Katie herself was trying to hold back tears while she was giving this speech.
