When everyone heard the minister make the announcement, the guests all turned to look at the back. They watched as Landon’s mom and stepdad get up and make their way to the stand. Everyone was in shock and wondering what was going on. We are sure that even you would have reacted in the same way if you were there. When the couple finally arrived by the side of the bride and groom, the minister gave Katie the mic.

They all stayed glued to the seats as they listened to what the bride wanted to say. Katie began, “First I want to thank you for accepting me as your friend and allowing me to be a part of Landon’s life.” She then went on, “I promise to be an amazing mother to your son. I will guide, teach, and love him every single day.” Yes, she was directing this message to Landon as well as his birth mom!
