Jason White could still remember the influential figures that were plastered on the Washington D.C. restaurant’s walls, Busboys and Poets as if he was still there. The dentist thought about the coincidence of how the inauguration of the 45th President lined up on the same weekend as the Women’s March. The odd coincidence inspired Jason White, and he realized that these were two examples of the American people expressing their values.

It was also interesting to note that Jason White was also a devout Christian, and he felt that both events were representations of what it meant to be a citizen in America. He also mentioned that he was so touched when he observed the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The man had thought about how it did not matter who the President was and politics aside, they still performed the exact 21-step tradition.
