Alicia was in the business for so long that she was accustomed to it. She could tell the intention of a man who was going to pawn their items by just looking at his face. The pawnshop had attracted odd cross-sections of people who came from different places of the town. For her, she had categorized the people who were pawning in their shop in two categories. The first one was the people who were down-and-out, and the others were a vulture that was finding some chance in order to get a great deal. Although, it was not the same with the officer whom she met on that day because the officer did something that she did not expect.

Alicia knew how to handle her customers that were regularly coming to the shop. With her experience, she discovered that some of her customers would bargain for a unique antique while the other would pay for the full amount and would not ask for any more questions. She was working in a small town, that was why she remembered the faces of her customers. However, there was a new man who entered the pawnshop so she watched that customer for every move that he would do.
