The man ordered a green salad and a glass of water. Courtney can only think of nothing but relief as she was finally able to get out of the awkward situation, but she knew that the police officer was watching her with intent as she made her way into the kitchen.

As Courtney passed through the swing doors, she saw that the eatery was starting to have a lot more people inside. She noticed a couple seated at the booth behind the officer. She immediately made her way to the couple and introduced herself.
