Decca Records paved Rhett Akins way to the country music in 1994. Though it was short-lived, He released two albums on the record label, followed by What Livin’s All About under MCA Nashville in 1998. His first single, That Ain’t My Truck, made it to the number three spot on the billboard country chart. Although he has not charted a single since 2006, Akins has written singles for other country music singers.

Ty Herndon

After he signed to Epic Records in 1995, Herndon made his debut with his number one single, “What Mattered Most,” followed by the release of his first album bearing the same title. He continued to release several albums and singles through the years. After the release of his 2013 album, he came out as gay and told the press his ex-wives knew about his preferences. His last album release was in the year 2016 entitled House on Fire.
