And prior to this incident, life had not been easy for Tracy. She was a single mother of five who lived in Rock Hill, South Carolina. During her life, she struggled to make ends meet and provide for her family. Some of her kids were now grown, but all of them stayed together to lower the family home’s cost. Despite their circumstances, they led a happy family life. But then, something started to happen that threatened all that.

One day in September, Tracy started hearing unusual noises coming from the attic. She thought maybe there was an intruder, but she was still careful of locking all the doors and windows. She did so as a precaution since they lived in a bad part of the town, and burglaries were prevalent. She saw no evidence of forced entry whatsoever and figured it was just her imagination. But she soon began asking if something more was going on.
